    Hi,

I know that to check traffic from google you can use the keyword tool from google for adwords, or wordtracker thingie but what I need to check is how many people put phrases on Google.co.uk.

    Anyone got any ideas?

there is never going to be an accurate way to track this, just go for the local search volume in keyword tool, this normally gives you the best idea of searches local to your search engine.

you can use the google Trends also. But you can't get keyword suggestion through this. But you can compare the traffic for the selected keywords by the period and the region. It show details only for those keywords which have some resonable search volume.

Google Insights is also good to check the keywords location wise but you will not get exact data with this.

It's simple, open AdWords account and make sure your listing is on the first page... thus you get number of searchs.
