You can check up in Google which pages are indexed with your site by typing your url into the search like this: site:http://yourwebsite.com

With Google, it can usually take a few days before your blog gets indexed. Not too sure with actual websites, but blogs seem to index quite fast. Don't keep re-submitting though, one time will be enough.

MSN, Yahoo and all these kinda search engines are useless for getting indexed. I submitted by blogs to various search engines at the same time and have hundreds of pages indexed in Google, but only a few today with MSN and Yahoo.

I think if you build backlinks and submit a sitemap then this will usually speed up the process of indexing, but adding frequent content will also help a great deal. If you run blogs on Blogger, then as you can't submit a sitemap you can just submit your feed (atom.xml) and Google will use this alike a sitemap.

It's clear to see why Google dominate over 70% of searches, as not only are their results so much better, yet they have proven in my case that they are the most efficient in indexing a number of pages quickly for instant traffic. Can't see anyone ever taking Google's crown!

i check it in google and my 74 pages are indexed in google. But i am surprised i did not get a single visitor by google thru search. i am running a soccer wallpaper site and it is very much popular keyword.
i am also using adword for my site. Is it because of adword????
maybe my site is coming in sponsored links???

you should only use googles own toolbar to check pagerank, all other 3rp party tools are against googles TOS
