    Hello Everyone,

I use copyscape to check my articles but I don't know any other method. Please tell me if there is any method other than copyscape to check originality of content. I also want to know how to check originality of images, videos and audios. Please help.

    Thank You

Copy scape is by far one of the best places that you can go to check with your content to be ticketed. However even copy scape is not as accurate as many times I have found that names of places or people have resulted in the Arctic are coming copy scape failed.

Above poster pretty much said it all.

In the rare event you do get somone saying that is a knock off from his article, simply change the words around so it doesn't match his, and then direct him to the, "author" who copied it.

It's not a big deal anyway.

Why do you spend your time being worried. I just got an email today from a top software programmer with extra tight security. Three programs he was working on got hacked while someone knew his was on his second honeymoon. And his has security on top of security.

If someone wants something they can get it. The more determined you want to stop the person, the more time the 12 year old and buddies will make a game of it.

Smile, you are on the road that continues on and on, but upward.
If you just cannot sleep do exactly what Contentboss does --

I use the same Google technique of taking a phrase and searching it. It does work. However, I use it to see what blogs or article directories picked up my info.

---which is a good thing --In fact it has a name: Vertical marketing-------------------

Oh boy. Here we go again. Making shit up to show he is somebody.

Uh, Gomer, "vertical marketimng" is a group of similar businesses and customers that engage in trade based on specific and specialized needs.

    Well, of course you did.

    You're predictable, if anything.

Idiot. Who is referring to business markets? The subject is content.

When an article causes a chain reaction of being picked upped by other blogs and article directories and even websites they are linked in the marketing of the article. Article marketers refer to this in their segment by a number of names including vertical marketing.

Since this never happens to your articles P. Hamburger, the only direction you know is stuck.

Dang! 395 posts, and not a single one has been useful. That has to be a record of some kind from the clueless noob. :p

There has also been a lot of talk about CopySentry. If you have heard of them, know that they are not up to par. Hell, far from it.

Ok... I think this thread has gotten out of proportion and theme. The person was asking for a site that allows him to check for duplicate content. Now on that note, I am a bit perplexed. His user name and signature tell us that he is a content writer... Shouldn't his work be original to begin with? Why would he need to check for duplicate content? Unless of course he is paraphrasing or plagiarizing stuff...

I like to consider myself a content writer also, and I use copyscape. Not because I copy anything, but sometimes popular phrases are repeated and can come up with a copyscape fail. I like to protect myself from having my client complain. Thats all.

popular phrases that repeat is an issue but so far, i've seen nothing better than copyscape.
plagium.com is getting very popular in Greece. So far it is beta and looks simple. it operates like a search machine (it is powered by yahoo) and personaly i am satisfied. If you dont search for urls but for texts, maybe the plagium worths a try.

See how I'm doing this, dumbass? *chuckles*

That seems like a good point, gvannorman, but as a pro writer, if I have anybody coming back with that, I would remind him that no matter what, that is going to happen.

There is no reason for a pro writer to protect himself in that manner.

There is just way too much info for that NOT to happen.

And if that does not satisfy him? It has never happened to me, but I would simply say, "bye."

Besides, do you have the time to do this with every or almost every article? Maybe you do not do it all the time, I don't know.
