How to Check Links?

How do I check how many links I have linking to my site? I did a link:http://www.abc.com/ on G and somehow I don't think it is accurate. On day it was showing 90 then the next day 85.

 

Google doesn't show all of the links that it has recorded for your web site using that command.

To see more detail you will need to sign up for Google Webmaster Tools and verify your site.

Alternatively use Yahoo Site Explorer or Open Site Explorer to check your back links.

 

You can also check backlinks from webmaster tools also

 

i like site explorer, i think yahoo is going to close this service in a year.

I've been using Yahoo Site Explorer as well
It seems to be the best tool out there. Also it's supported by SEOQuake, which makes it even better and better

 

Yahoo is best. Google does not give accurate data in this regard.
