How to check keywords competition

    Hello all,

    can any one tell me how to check keywords competition.

    is this a keyword competition when we search the particular keywords and Google shows in right

    Results 1 - 10 of about 8,340,000 for cheap laptop. (0.21 seconds)

    8,340,000 is this a keyword competition ?????

    Checking the competition of a keyword is not as simple as looking at just one number....

    You need to collect data from various places and sources and then cross reference that data to come up with a more current and accurate estimation.

    You can start by searching your keyword in Google and checking how many results it returns, that will tell you how many other pages you are competing with for those keywords. Then you can do a "Quoted" search of your keyword to see how many other pages have exactly your keyword in them.

    With just those two searches/data you can come up with a rough estimate of the competition!
