Is there a tool out there where I could insert my website and a certain keyword and see where my website is placed with that keyword in google? I used to use some website soemthing like allno1.com or something but it doesn't work anymore. I want to find the most legit one? If you use one please share!

When I go looking to do some keyword research on my site I use SEOQuake. You can get it for the browser that you use. I also use Market Samurai for keyword research. From what I can tell the site http://rankpay.com will give you a ranking that your site. But, only for the keywords that you put in. It doesnt actually give you the words that you rank for. I would recommend that you give Market Samurai a shot. They offer a trial period.

But why have to pay for this sort of information? This is basic information that a website should have up for free for us. I was using one before so i'm sure there's another one out there?

I have never used any tool for cheking keyword ranking on google as i prefer to do it manually. It always gives the accurate result.

Do it manually man then you get a feel for the serp, your competitors and what's working. Don't take shortcuts dude . . . plus it's againts Google's T&Cs to use automated tools :)

This is the coolest tool i found: http://tools.seobook.com/firefox/rank-checker/

its an add-on to firefox - it has the ability to remove the google personalized search (based on your own browsing history)

I found this about 3 weeks ago and its almost bang on when i use computers i've never used before.

    Good luck!
