While I doing analysis the websites, I have used the syntax like "site:http://www.domainname.com". This never shows any result in any major search engines. If I used the syntax like "site:http://domainname.com". This shows result. "site:http://www.domainname.com" "site:http://domainname.com" I want to know which is correct syntax, from above two.
Use site:http://www.domainname.com site:http://domainname.com This is what I use in google, Yahoo and bing. Also Share your URL to get more feedback here.
i was having 423 results by writing stte:http://www.domainname.com and now today it has been reached to 9210 .. what is this ?
Hi all, "site:http://www.domainname.com" "site:http://domainname.com" I want to know which one is exactly correct from above two
site:www.domainname.com will show you all pages on the subdomain www.domainname.com. site:domainname.com will show you all pages across all subdomains (so including http://domainname.com/somepage or http://subdomain.domainname.com/somepage).
Second one is best. because if you put in google "site:http://domainname.com/". It will show all your indexed page by google. so second one is best..........
First one is right to check index pages of your site. because if you try for second option it shows result - more pages index. I think search engine consider two version of the website. If any one know the reason please explain.
