How to check if PR of a website is fake?

    I would like to know if there is any good online SEO tool to check fake PR. Most of the tools I have seen are not good, cause they report 'fake pr' for almost any website you enter - even the website where the tool is hosted.

    Try to install seachstatus. This tool is more accurate in determining the pagerank.

    search for info:sitename.com on google.. if it shows same site, then good.
    or try checkpagerank.net

    Aside from google toolbar, I downloaded seo open (firefox extension). It has google, yahoo, msn, alexa, and other seo tools.

    Install google toolbar, it will tell you exact PR.
    But in my opinion pr is worthless.
