How to check if my domain is banned from google index?

I suspect that one of my new domain is banned by Google.. is there any way to verify that?

Googlebots have accessed my new site several times this month (latest was on 20 Oct) but still did not indexed the site..

 

Was the domained registered before by someone else? Also, new sites won't get indexed right away, even if Googlebot crawls the page it wouldn't mean that it will show up in the index.

 

try to check google index - site:site.com first.
if site is not available there, then just wait some time.

I am not sure if anyone has owned the domain before because I registered this domain few months ago. I am aware that Google does not index right away but it seems to take too long.. my other sites got indexed less than two weeks and this is coming close to a month..

That tool is not accurate.. it only checks for PR and page's index which I have checked.

Any further comments / help will be appreciated

 

Go to http://www.google.com/webmasters/ , click on webmaster tools. Add your site to your profile, verify it, then read what it says.

 

Add my site to the profile? I can't find that option, do you mean submitting a sitemap. If that's what you mean, yes, I have submitted and verified my sitemap the very first day I launched the site. It says that the Googlebots have accessed my site on 20 Oct 2006 but currently my site is not indexed..
