How to check if ClickBank is right for me?

    Hi,

Is it better if I move one of my products (already selling on a different smaller affiliate network) to ClickBank and see if I get better results, or should I make a second website with a similar product
and different name for use in ClickBank? What would you do?

    Thanks!

If this product that you're talking about is selling well on other affiliate networks, I'm sure it will sell reasonably well on Clickbank. But if the product conversions are lousy and the competition in that niche is way too high, your product will bomb.

So firstly test the conversions against the conversions of your competitors in Clickbank. You can use cbengine.com as a market research tool. You basically want to have a better earnings per click (EPC) than your competition.

Test your best competitor's sales conversion and EPC by being their affiliate and consumer to analyze their sales process. Then start tweaking your sales page to beat their sales page. Once you have a better EPC than your competition, you can announce to the whole web that your product converts the best and show statistical screen shots as proof, then it will only be a matter of time that sales will start pouring in.

That's my 2 cents from this month's worth of trial and error.

Split test both CB and your current payment processor and see which performs best for you!

It sounds like you have experience creating your own product, which means you have a lot more experience than most. Why don't you create a few more products and try promoting them on Clickbank.

If you already have affiliates promoting your product from another network, I wouldn't switch networks on them or you will probably lose them as affiliates.

Otherwise, Clickbank is the best there is.
