How to check if a blog is a no follow or do follow blog?

I've come across a blog that uses these tags on comments

rel='external nofollow'

Is that used as a no follow tag as well?

 

I've been using SEO quake for Firefos to identify nofollows. Its handy.

There is a pretty good Firefox extension that will show you No / Do Follow links:

1> ASk the webmaster
2> View source for the page and search for follow.

 

Or use the free dofollow finder tool.

 

using firefox addons for dofollow make me confuse,I like the manual way "View source" for good valid result.

Just read the source and see if the other links are tagged with "nofollow"

 

Seo quake Firefox extension guys, make it easy for you

- After install the pulgin here
- Run any page, right click on small icon (quake) usually on right down corner,
- pick the option "line-through "nofollow' and "noindex'
Voila you'll be able to see a line on the nofollow and noindex
Faster than asking webmaster

Ahh.. I see.. When a blog has rel="external no follow", all the links from OUTSIDE will not be coount as BL to anyone who will link to it, BUT the link comning from the blog itself (INTERNAL LINKING WITHIN EACH POST) will count as BL to blog itself. Gets?

 

I agree - the best way I found is to use a firefox extension. There are loads on the firefox plugin website.
