Hi, Can anyone tell me please is there any way to check that how many images of a site are indexed in Google? Any help will be appreciated. Regards WM
From my view,,, Search Engines will not index any of the Images, they only consider Alt text of the images, based on it SE will know it's an images related to that alt text.... Coming to index position check with Image:URL in search will find some of your site results, we can those are the indexed images for you..also try ur alt text too Check IMAGE OPTIMIZATION best ways to know more..
Go into Google Webmaster Tools and then click the optimization link on the left. Click on sitemaps and it will show you how many of your images are indexed. It will only show you that info though if you have submitted a sitemap.
In Webmaster tools, where u can only see how many pages of your site is indexed, there is no any option for image index, if u want to see your images indexing so see your cached pages where u can find which image is index or which one is not.
to know how many images has been indexed by Google, you need to create a separate sitemap of all image URLs. then submit it to Google Webmaster. This is the best and short way to know it. For more information visit: http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=178636
For checking how many images of your indexed in Google?. Go to Google.com Type Site:yoursite.com And Click on Images Tab. Google Images Search Will show how many images of yoursite.com are indexed in google.
Thanks for the unique idea. Can you please tell me that how can I get the number i.e how many images are indexed in Google.I am looking for the right number.
You can't get the number of images indexed in Google, but it can be known on the basis of how many pages indexed...
you can not check the images how many and where are the in your website but you can check it with the help of typing .jpg .png and more.
But dear Google image search does not show search count (number). So how we can know how many images indexed., only shows indexed images.???
on the google search image page, open developer tool and search for a class name unique to the images from your webpage. you will get the exact numbers of images present in google search.
