How to check for valid page rank!

I have checked on a couple sites and they all say PR3. But I was wandering what sites the pros use to check for valid PR?

 

I've always used prchecker.info. I believe it is accurate enough.

 

I think rankchecker.com/pagerank-checker/ works great.

 

that is a fake PR3 expiring domain name.

 

According to prchecker.info, the PR is 3. When I go to the site I also see PR3 on the Google Toolbar. So I believe it really is PR3. If it is fake, how do you know?

 

check the google cache using the "info:domain.com" command.

if its fake PR (redirected domain) it will show a different domain name in the search results.

 

Bit off topic but how much is a PR3 Domain worth?

 

The PR3 domain price ranges from 30$ to 75$.

well there are online tool that will help you determine the legitimate pr of a certain domain like seoquake, seomoz, search status and more.

 

There is a massive online market in link sales as I have discussed in other articles. Many webmasters link building strategy comprises of obtaining links on pages with high PR with few out bound links (OBL).
