i only use yahoo site explorer, to check the number of back links

 

if u r using mozilla as yur web browser then all u need to do is download and install an addon of mozilla named as search status......thru dis addon u can not only view the number of backlinks but also u can chk da pr of a page, whether the page is cached or not, whether is it indexed or not nd lot many things.

 

I too say yahoo site explorer. I've found that Google won't list all of the linked sites even though they're crawled and recorded as inbound links.
