    Yahoo Site Explorer is pretty good, and certainly shows more than Google does without signing up to Google Webmaster Tools

    I always prefer webmaster tools to check internal and external link of website and some time use Seomoz and WebCeo tools....

    There's a variety of backlink checkers on the market, but when it comes to your site, there's no more accurate solution than Google webmaster tools. It lists all your backlinks. The only annoying thing is that the list is too long, and you have to go through it manually to find links that are still in place and contribute to your seo.
