Not all companies will put the TM info on the site and if it is, sometimes it is hard to find, use the site above, that will give you the answer

    use common sense
if you are going to reg names like
    playboycenterfolds.com
it will be about three days before you get a dmca notice
playboy has a godaddy account with 100s of domains in it..
and they got all of them for free
    guess how?
they send the morons who regged them a copyright notice and say
    "push it or else"
    that being true
other companies are not as aggressive
such as apple who allows almost unlimited stepping on the trademark
and has done it for years
Facebook has gotten more defensive since they went public but still mainly sends C+Ds that say
"i would't renew that domain again if I were you"
or we may play rough legally
I have one now but I had the domain for 5 years already and first I heard was this year.
I could give more anecdotal info based on personal incidents but...
    The answer is ...
    there is no easy answer
ever watch a runner take a lead on first base...?
if you steal second you look good
if the pitcher picks you off you are a loser
Its about your personal risk tolerance and if you want to be a wise guy
