you all have the tool to find no follow on your standard notepad that comes with every pc. give me free links and i teach you all kinds of stuff lol for checking if sites are no follow , click on the page and 'View Source' - make sure notepad is default to view it in. when the notepad opens with all their HTML and other code for their site , then click on 'Edit' at the top of the notepad - and then in 'Edit' dialog box, click 'Find' This opens a search box and you type rel="nofollow" (dont copy and paste it , you have to type it) if theres any nofollow tags it highlights them in blue. if there aren't any nofollow tags it will prompt with "cannot find rel="nofollow" no plug-ins or major tools required check sites in 2 seconds with that. It's WAAYYYYy better than reading through all the code as somebody else suggested. Notepad has a simple basic feature that lets you find words or sentences etc. thats what 'Find' is for. you can not only use it for rel="nofollow" but many other things as well. shhhh ...give me your links. j/k
1. Use firefox add on -searchstatus 2. Improve your content, focus on keywords, try to increase the keyword's density
Select any link on the site in firefox browser and check the source, if the link contains nofollow means its a nofollow site, if nothing means its dofollow
I looking for a solution for the same problem.. I know the source check but some of those webmasters are quite sophisticated and they're using some javascript codes to make it look but a do-follow link when it's no-follow in-fact I did try to download a firefox plugin that I read it would be helpful but it was not and I still looking for a good solution that will tell me in 100% if the link I check is a real do-follow by the search-engines or no. gonna check this thread again and see if someone offers a good solution that will satisfy my needs.
USe this fine addon for firefox. once you install it, jus right click onm any webpage, if the links turns "red" in color then they are nofollow, but if they turn "blue" they are dofollow. here it is: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5687 its called "nodofollow". Hope it works and help you out.
The easiest way is just by visit the blog, and view the source of the page (use CTRL + U on firefox) Then search for "nofollow". If you find it, then that blog is nofollow. But if you can't find it, then that blog is dofollow
nofollow links have rel="nofollow" in the link text...............so robots can not follow these links
Seoquake is not working with Firefox: 5.0 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3036 can u help
Upon knowing the do-follow movement, I have moved all my blogs at my signature to be do-follow and now I'm helping with the 1000 Do-Follow Blogs/Social Networks/Forum/Website List that will surely help in building quality backlinks.
yes, that's good idea to have this plugin, but I prefer to use SearchStatus, here I attach you the features you will get by using this plugin on firefox:
Using firefox addon is the simple and easy way to find out this. My blog is dofollow, check my signature.
you can download firefox addons searchstatus and Nodofollow. They both will help you to identify the no follow and do follow links. or you can also check manually. if there is <a href="Link" rel="nofollow"> used then its no follow link.
