How to check DoFollow and Nofollow links?

How can I check if a website is using dofollow or nofollow? Is there any way to increase ranking in serps?

 

Highlight the link, right click >> view source
If you see nofollow anywhere then its nofollow if you don't then its dofollow
A way to increase rankings in SERP's is by acquiring dofollow backlinks with the requested keyword as anchor text

If you use mozilla firefox then easily add this add on : SearchStatus

Then make sure you enable option "Highlight Nofollow Links", all link that nofollow will be highlighted

you can also see how many links are on the page.. very useful

 

There are a couple of good FireFox plugins which will do the trick, check for the "no nofollow" plugin.

its really easy with firefox. just right click on a link, and if u see "Realtion: nofollow" then its a nofollow link. if it doesnot say so, then it is dofollow.
