Lagend: Please do not waste your time on these tools. Google does not endorse or suggest them. If a personal lifts a line, be happy, it means you wrote worthwhile. Feel free to quote the legendary writing artists of a century back, or analyze what they say. Google: the gutenberg project, and inspire yourself,

Content Boss: Sorry for the rude deep throated gargle of P. Rose.

This was a lady threatening me with legal action, after having an article submitted to my site. The distributor has a self-protection clause, about others using or not using the material. This was not an article, but an add disguised trying to fill six head hunter positions. Apparently some of those not even hers, they were being deprived of their opportunity to "double dip". The ability to earn a commission on a posting and one on the filling of the job.

Being caught, she TRIED to put the blame on article directories. Since with word size restrictions, and all overall quality, we get junk but not that much. So rightfully we give immediate issue. Then mods, clean up the garbage, which this one was. I was accused by her of stealing her information. I get enough articles, nor do I want junk.

That is why I told her the truth. She is the spammer, and information stealer, and the one seeking distribution, not us. Apparently, others took a similar position and she is now banned by the distributor. I have all her info recorded. I will not tolerate spammers, liars, or copy stealers.

I am not as gullible as someone never going to court thinking cops are not trained liars under oath. Because of immunity. their words are more twisted than that of a lawyer who can be held accountable.

The purpose was to show others how some will go so low as to steal the credit others belong, and when caught, pawn if off as someone else s blame.

ZERO TOLERANCE FOR BS TALKERS, SPAMMERS, AND INFORMATION ABUSERS. SORRY YMC that is my personal policy, and does not interfere nor conflict in my ethics when teaching others writing skills. Your code of ethics are for you to decide.

Google is the best method to use to find duplicate content. If you find any of your work copied, let Google know, they are usually pretty good about taking action. Then again, PR is going to come along and call me a noob, so what do I know?

I never check mine lol, if I write something original then I it is probably going to be unique. I may happen to end up copying someone by accident one day....I guess it would be like having 1000 monkeys with typewriters and they eventually type the Declaration of Independence

    Good Answer Poker_Addict

Almost every week someone makes a post like this. The answers are the same
    (1) Copyspace and other tools do not measure an articles success or failure. Quit being scammed, some of the off shoots are 40% accurate, Copyscape at the top is 90%
    (2) Take a phrase unique to your article and type in Google search--see the results
    (3) Higher quality writers will often use similes , quotes, and common sayings. That does not make their writing less value or poor quality.
    (4) Spend more time improving your writing than policing. I have an article directory that yesterday reached 50,000 entries. I do not see any worth stealing. Is not the purpose of your writing to get it seen. There are many honest copiers, like trade publication blog posts, maybe like what was written and included your credits. With so much info today, there are far more people revising a concept they read, than stealing it.

If you just want to check for plagiarism, the original advice to use Google (or Bing!) is sound. Copyscape uses the Google API to do it's thing, so the only advantage of it (if you're using the free credits you get every day) is it shows you the infringing pages with the copied bits highlighted.

you just copy the first paragraph of contents and to search the Google.com to see the content is duplicate or not.
