link: for google and links: for yahoo shows only a fraction of inbound links.
We can use webmaster tools (either bing, google, ...) only for sites we own.
Do you know of any good free tool, that can check any domain name with pretty relevant number of inbound links, like yahoo site explorer capable of?
I will probably use blekko, but its still only fraction of yahoo. Since yahoo site explorer ended, life has been hard :(

SEO Pro’s Link Checker This is a very fantastic backlink checking service. Although it takes a little while (not too long) to populate the list of URL’s

You can go to Google and type links: search operator. This won't give you all of your backlinks, but it'll give you some of the ones that have been indexed.
Sign up for free account of majestic seo and you can find relative domains and backlinks to your site. If you have the money I would definitely get this one.
You can also sign up for a free account on Open Site Explorer from SEOMoz.
Go to Blekko and use site operator Site: with your site and put /seo to find outbound, inbound links, an other seo stats. Although the backlinks here might be a little outdated, but you might find some backlinks you've neer seen before

It’s the same way as you check for back links in google. Like for example you can see the number of backlinks for a site, you just have to place this in the search bar of any search engine and find the back links.
