    Seo quake is best for site analysis, there you can easily check status like back links,index page in search engine,link do or no follow.
    It's have many unique feature for site. You should try it for checking sitemaps.

    This is not really as sitemap can be on another resource. The most likely is to check whether there sitemap.xml in the root of the site.

    Hi, if the name of the sitemap is standard named is simply to get info about it, but if there aren't a direct link from the site I'm not sure you can find it sure always. Bye

    Hi, if you installed xml sitemap on ur site then check it as u mentioned "domain.com/sitemap.xml" which is ryt or else u need to use some addon to check whether ur site has build with sitemap! I'll prefer to use SEO Quake!

    If by chance the file's name is called sitemap.xml then you can probably find it by the way you mentioned. If the name is any different then it would be extremely difficult to find it. You can use a browser extension by the name of SEO quake and it will give you the minute details of any website.

    It is your personal choice to use seo quake but i prefer to use XENU for checking of any url. If a site is not having xml sitemap then it can used to create the xml.sitemap of any website.

    You wouldn't be able to find the sitemap if someone is using a custom name for it and adding sitemap via Google Webmaster Tools. I doubt that any tool can help you with that.
    But you can check a standard name of sitemap.xml or check the robots.txt file (sitemaps name can be mentioned in robots.txt)

    Usually the robots.txt file has information on where the sitemap is. Check there.
