How to change the font in a wordpress theme

Hi there bloggers

I have a simple question Im still new with blogging and I just got my first blog up, it still has no content so I wont put it up LOL but I need help, I installed a theme that has a small and light colored font. I would really appreciate it if you can show me how to change this by editing the theme using the theme editor. I tried changing the first few lines of the style.css file but nothing happened. Can someone who knows point out where I would find the actual code that controls the color and font size of the blog posts.

I have to look at your site's code so I need to a link to it...

 

you must change font in style.css file from active wp theme.

if you change to new theme it not effect to new theme.

 

Hey alright thanks for the help guys, apparently the changes I made yesterday took almost a day to reflect, dunno what the delay may have been, but yeah its working. Thanks a load for the help
