How to change the browser title of homepage for Joomla 1.6 ?

Hello . I installed Joomla 1.6.3 , it works fine except failed to change the homepage title.

I do the below to change article title for the browsers :

1. Login to admin area
2. Menus -> Menu manager
3. Loacate the main menu and the orange asterisk menu item (which would open the home page) , double click the item to open it.
4. Click "Page Display Options" , change the text of "Browser Page Title" to "My website title" , and change the value of "Show Page Heading" to Yes , then Save&Close

But the homepage title display "How | Category" always , Who can help me ?

 

Nobody face the problem ?

may be you forgot to clean up the cache (both Joomla & browser) !!

The problem has been resolved by the solution :
Redirected the domain to a special webpage .

 

Also, go to global configurations and change the site title

 

Also go into Menu item>> click parameters >> Change the title there.

 

I am not able to add keywords, description, robots, author etc.. from administrator on my Joomla site.
My Developer made disable that function or what problem going with it?

Please help me for this issue...

 

First guess would be that your access level is wrong, kick your developper to fix it ? If not you ll have to change it from the database
