How to change Joomla Admin Folder Name or Path and admin menu work ?

    Just installed a clean Joomla 1.5.22 to test
    changed both /includes/defines.php and /administrator/includes/defines.php to:
    define( 'JPATH_ADMINISTRATOR', JPATH_ROOT.DS.'admin' );

    I can now login using www.exemple.com/admin

    but once logged in the admin menus do not work there is a javascript error! how i can solve this problem?

    please help me

    There is no such option to change the admin path - but as i understand you want security for your joomla administration - so see these plugins can help you - Click Here

    But i want to change or rename my administrator folder . i rename but when i login that time menu not work. why? i want to solve this

    i think you should not change your admin folder, you can make it more secure but no changing as lot of thing depend on that admin folder

    try seaching it in joomla forum, there's already an answer for your intention to make your administrator folder more secure
