Hi guys, I am going to my Footer.php file and see this: <?php eval(base64_decode('Pz4gCQk8L2Rpdj4NCgkJPGRpdiBpZD0iZm9vdGVyIiBjbGFzcz0iY2xlYXIiPg0KCQkJJmNvcHk7IDw/cGhwIGVjaG8gZGF0ZSgiWSIpOz8+IC0gPD9waHAgYmxvZ2luZm8oJ25hbWUnKTsgPz48YnIvPg0KCQkNCjw/cGhwIGlmKGlzX2hvbWUoKSkgOiA/PjxhIGhyZWY9Imh0dHA6Ly9mcmVlYW50aXZp...... ...Which gives Copyright credit and link of some unrelated to our business company, may be a theme designer... (which is not the right place for their credit)... How do i change it?
Try decoding the enclosed text eval(base64_decode('blah blah...')) here opinionatedgeek.com/dotnet/tools/base64decode
I would check to see If there are any related entries in the Wordpress forum here: en(dot)forums(dot)wordpress(dot)com/forum/css-customization
That's illegal. That's copyrighted material, and that is an encrypted file. You are using a free theme I imagine, and they want credit. Removing that encryption is illegal and they can pursue you in court.
I think wordpress has changed things so that the user has to pay $14.97 a year for an upgrade that allows them to change the CSS. Anyway, I had fun working it all out!
anyone that requires a link is link gouging, no different from price gouging link or not, does WP even get anything out of this other then buliding links for something that is free? Whats the point?
1) link had nothing to do with Wordpress, but some antivirus software company. 2) I am sorry, but Copyright of the site content has absolutely nothing to do with co-t of the template - so, it's obviously a wrong place to have it in the first place.
Yes, but the TEMPLATE that you are using for Wordpress is most likely free, and they want credit for the template.
