Dear linkwheelmagnet, my site is using ProSense theme. I clicked on the "ProSense: adsense_sidebar.php" at the Editor under Appearance, the codes came out as shown below

    vti_encoding:SR|utf8-nlvti_timelastmodified:TR|10 Jan 2012 03:16:20 -0000vti_extenderversion:SR|5.0.2.4803vti_cacheddtm:TX|10 Jan 2012 03:16:20 -0000vti_filesize:IR|500vti_backlinkinfo:VX|

I can't see the default adsense ID-pub no. How do I change then?

If you using Prosense then locate theme file with prefix adsense such as adsense_sidebar, adsense_singlepost_bottom_banner or so. Replace the adsense java script with yours.

Where is this theme file with prefix adsense located? You mean what I select the file "ProSense: adsense_sidebar.php" at the Editor section is the wrong one?

Are you using this theme: thewrongadvices[dot]com/2007/05/18/prosense-an-adsense-ready-seo-wordpress-theme/ if so, you should see some file with adsense prefix in your theme editor, click on it and it will open the php file where you can easily edit the code.

Yes, this is what I did. But the codes came out like this

    vti_encoding:SR|utf8-nlvti_timelastmodified:TR|10 Jan 2012 03:16:20 -0000vti_extenderversion:SR|5.0.2.4803vti_cacheddtm:TX|10 Jan 2012 03:16:20 -0000vti_filesize:IR|500vti_backlinkinfo:VX|

Now, from this codes, how shall I edit then?

can you send me your theme file? I need to look after it, it's look like some cache plugin creating problem. You can send me the file to allihill21[a]gmail.com. Also, you can try this - disable all plugin, clear your browser cache and then try to edit the file. Also, which type of web host you are using - cPanel, Layered Panel or any other kind?
