Can anyone tell me which files to edit to make the fixed width columns either wider or add an additional column in a Wordpress Theme?

    Many Thanks

find out what css class or id the column uses and then change it accordingly in your stylesheet :)

Go to your Dashboard, then Design>Theme Editor. All the theme files will be listed on the right hand side and assuming they're writable you can tweak them in there.

I made them all writeable and I have changed every width I could find and none changed the "main" width. So I figured it was something else.

Sorry, I'm not that familiar with CSS, usually I'm just changing the simple stuff like colors. I had a look online to see if I could find anything to help you though. Is this any help? It mentions a "#container" file, that might be it.

Talk about the blind leading the blind, ha! But I'm trying. :) Perhaps you could try your theme developer's site? Sometimes you'll get the fastest answer from them on customizing it via a forum there or by contacting them.

Don't worry, someone smarter than me at this will come to your rescue. :)

You know, if effort counted we'd have it done by now LOL. I wish you lots of luck finding the answer and will keep my eyes peeled in my internet travels for a resolution. :) He doesn't have translation buttons on his page perhaps? Look for the flags.

That's my last piece of what will probably be useless attempts to help, I promise. :D

If there's a help page there, you can always translate it to English using Google Translate.

What's your site URL? I could probably hop to you site for a while and have a look at your CSS then tell you what can be done.
