How to cash your commission checks?

    Hello Guys,

I am in affiliate programs and I receive cheques every two weeks. When I receive these cheques, I send them to my local bank here to be process for me. After that, I wait for about five weeks until they finally processed them. After waiting for all this time and banks charge me about 50% fee for processing the cheques. This is a very bad deal.

I hope you Guys can show me a way out of this.. Or is there a way I can send my cheques to a company to fund my e-gold account or to send bank wire into my local bank account?

    Regards.

What country are you in? A 50% processing charge is completely ridiculous and you should be able to change banks.

I am not sure which country you are in but like yfs1 said, 50% charges is ridiculous. Find out from your bank how the charges are, they may have a fixed component and a variable component fees. In my case, it is like $15 + 0.025%. If that is the same as in your country then get your affiliates to withhold the checks until you get a larger amount, like maybe send you every once a month or so. This should cut down on service charges.

Alternatively, see if they can fund you through some other ways.

I am not from Ghana so you might need to check with your local banks what their rates are to receive US checks.

Check with your affiliates if they can do wire transfer or do they have other means of sending you the money.

Without know which affiliates it is difficult to provide you with more advice.

Saying "about 50%, I think he doesn't the bank charge exactly 50%, but the fee is about 50% of the payment (because the amount is very less).
