How to Capture Email Addresses on Your Landing Page?!

I have read so many places that it is really important to collect email addresses on your landing page. I want to do this because I want to follow up with my prospect and also to be able to contact them several times with follow-ups so that they are more likely to purchase.

But...what do I do about trying to sell the product on the landing page? It seems like two seperate goals can be confusing. Do I just put the email signup near the top and then continue with my sales pitch, or do I make a whole new page for my sales pitch that they go to after signing up?

    Okay, here's an idea.
Try to sell the product and also offer a free course related to the product that you are selling. People who are interested will surely subscribe to your mailing list if your offer is good .

    hope this helps.

    bye,

Not sure what your selling. But you could always put a sample product up for free the users can take part of if they join your mailing lists.

If it's a product you have to ship, that probably wouldn't be a good idea with shipping costs though.

The best way is to giveaway something free first. A report or a free newsletter on something or a software...etc. It has to be related to your product. After that you can follow up with them, and sell them the product later.

Give them something of value. Better if it was new.

Check out my second sig link.... It is a new free report followed by a 5 day course newsletter and 3 bonus ebooks. (Some page format needs fixing though).

What I need to know is if I should put the purchase link and the free newsletter signup on the same page. I am going to be making a landing page for a clickbank product, so I want to keep my affiliates happy and build a list for myself at the same time.

    Kyle,

You can use a serivce like aweber
    to setup your autoresponder. They
provide code so you can have a
static Opt-in or a slide in Opt-in form
    on your sales page.

If you would like more info you can
go to www.aweber.com directly or I can
provide my affiliate link if you PM me.

    Hope this helps!
