I have a site that serves very unique video content to the hispanic market. We are interested in adding online advertisers to the site as both banner ads and text links. I am trying to determine what a good CPM might be for this site and I have a few questions about impressions. I have done a lot of reading online about this, but I would like some responses to my situation / site. Lets take a few things into account. 1,000,000 Total Visitors per month 250,000 Unique Visitors per month Average Time Spent on Page: 15 minutes If I wanted to run a 468x60 banner in premium real estate on a page, would rotating ads be the best method because of the amount of time spent on a page. For example I could have 30 second slots for each advertiser. With an average of 15 minutes per page. That would allow 30 advertisers to view given an impression for each visitor. Are impressions generally based on a unique impresssion per session? What if the ad was rotated twice within a users session. Would this count as 2 impressions for that advertiser? It seems to me that I could have hundreds of advertisers in a single spot using a rotating banner and still deliver a high number of impressions. Does this make sense? Do most publishers assign a single banner spot for a single advertiser for a given period of time, or does the ad change to another advertiser on each refresh? Any ideas what CPM i might look at charging for something like this. Again the content is very unique and the visitors are targeted. Best, Kris
