Here are some tips and tricks I'm using to bypass ad blockers (like adblock plus extension for Firefox) of blocking affiliate banners or other image ads. I didn't find any solutions yet to do it for third party js codes but, at last my 125x125 px affiliate banners are displayed always.

    1. If your sponsor or affiliate program allows you to host banners on your site, do it because probably ad blockers already are filtering them. Especially if they are known ad networks or big companies.

    2. Don't use words like: "ad, ads, banner, advertisement, sponsors, affiliate" when naming the folder where you put the banners. The same rules applies also when naming the banner files.

    3. Don't include image sizes when naming the banners. eg. do not use: company_125x125.gif, company_468x60.gif ... + any of all other standard banner sizes.

    4. Avoid using words listed in 2. and 3. in css class names where you will use in your layout. eg. Do not use <div class="ads">...</div>

Please feel free to share any other tips not listed here.

    Good look
