I'm sure a lot of you folks already know this, but a lot of people don't. When you are bidding on keywords, the landing page where you are sending the traffic to needs to be extremely relevant to the keyword. If it's not, you will get a 'google slap'. This is basically a google financial penalty. Here's an example. Let's say you are bidding on the keyword 'Acme Widgets', but you are sending the traffic to a landing page which doesn't have any information about Widgets. This often happens when PPC buyers attempt to direct link to affiliate offers. Users click a google ad, just to be met with another ad. Google thinks this is poor user experience. If you generate a pre-sell landing page which is extremely SEO optimized for the keywords you are bidding on, google will let you buy the traffic very very cheap. A friend of mine does this for a living, on a very large scale. He turned me on to a piece of software called LPGen Landing Page Generator which exists to help get you around the google slaps when you are running thousands of keywords in your campaigns. Sure you could create thousands of landing pages, but what a waste of time. I'm curious to know if anybody else here uses LPGen, and what their thoughts of it are. The website seems a bit infomercially, but I was given a live demo by my friend, and the actual software is crazy. $500 is a bit steep, but sometimes I make that in a day, so I can justify the expense if this improves my daily numbers.
i use LPGen. it is a great software, and if you can make the $500 back in a day, I would definitely get it. You won't regret it. for the others that can't afford to shell out the hefty $500 price tag, you can create you own landing page that's optimized for the keyword(s) your targeting. while this will take a little bit of hard work, it's free and still works.
I think that $500 can be paid for a SEO individual for providing thematically good keywords along with SEO, SEM rather than for software...which may not be accurate..
Wow... I already can pull off the entire cloaking thing for Google, and give me 20 minutes, and I'll have the rest of this program coded myself... Cloaking with non-affiliate, article content can help most of the time, but other times it's worthless. Seriously though, I should come out with a cheaper version of this.
LOL at the $500 price tag. I sell Affiliate Hijacker for a fraction of this and i am sure it can do what this does, if not more. Edit: I remember i had that some time ago and took a look at it. Its basically like YACG or MyGen and uses templates. The problem is that google knows all those "cloaking" programs and knows when a page is created by such a program ---> google slap, if not ban ! If you use such tools you NEED to customize the templates and never use them "as is" out off the box...this applies for all of those kinds of programs which create landing pages, MFA sites, Traffic Equalizer and similiar.
well I thought about it for a day, and this morning I purchased a license. Going to play with it and see what it's really capable of. I should be able to make the $500 back in a couple days. The software works on unlimited domains and subdomains which is cool! Thanks for the feedback, I'll post some reviews and examples when I get it installed and working.
let us know how you get on PS - do you control both accounts related to the first 2 posts in this thread?
mergemedia - If you would like to participate here drop the games. Your "friend" told you about software that you are now promoting in your signature and the the domain this crap is being promoted on has the same registration data as the site you list in your profile as your own. Strange coincidence don't you think? Consider this strike 2.
bummer....I was actually really surprised seeing someone jumping on a $500 offer that quickly...i know how the guys here *usually* are
