hi.. I found in this forum that you can buy and sell domains. my question is, if I buy the domain, will the name on the registrar remain his or can be changed to mine? any guide on how to buy domains from other people?

and another question, if I buy a PR 3 domain, then use the domain for my own content, will the PR drop?

    thanks

@buying: you buy it, it should be moved into your account with your name, any other sort of buying of a domain is a scam.

@PR: depends, probably wrong forum to ask, myabe try the SEO or google forums for that.

Usually when you buy an existing domain name here, they will do a 'Free Push' to your account in the same registrar then no one needs to pay anything extra and the transfer is almost instantaneous. If you do not have an account in that particular registrar, you can always sign up for a free account. After the 3 months or so, if you plan to consolidate with your existing registrar, you can do so by paying the additional 1 year as part of the transfer policy.

As for as PR is concerned, PR is not something which is static but it is dynamic. Google will update the PR rating from time to time so it can either go up or down. If your content is different from the existing content, you may see the PR drop.

I would go for those expired domains which are not cliamed. I think you can get it free instead of having to buy one. After you register the domain as yours, you may sel it.. please correct me if I am wrong
