For the last few weeks I have been looking to buy unused domains with PR but cannot find any website that sells domains based on Google PR. Its also very difficult to check the PR of each domain available for sale if the PR is not mentioned already. Is there any service or tool that helps you look for available domains with PR ?
If a domain hasn't been developed, it will get sandboxed the same as a new domain name when you change the registar information. Developed domains do not have this problem. PR is determined only by backlinks. Sometimes you will see a parked domain with PR, but you need to make sure the backlinks will stay or you will lose your PR as soon as the backlinks are removed. The toolbar will still show PR until the next update, but google using internal PR that is updated several times a month - so you can have a domain that looks like it has PR when it really doesn't. That is why you have to be careful about buying domains bought out of redemption if they don't still have their backlinks. Most domains that are up for sale on Sitepoint, dnforum, namepros etc advertise their PR as a selling point, but I don't know of any place that only shows domains with PR. Many parked domains with PR aren't going to have natural backlinks, rather backlinks from other sites the seller has. You might be better off looking for a developed domain - one that might not have great content (if you are looking for a low price) but is at least indexed and has backlinks from different sites not owned by the seller.
PR not only depend on backlinks, if it have no backlinks but have good and unique content then you can get PR PR update will not drop after PR pdate Here is list of expired domain name With PR 1 to 3 , there PR is still the same after PR updated from google held on 6 nov. foreverinspiration.com mobi94.com shegy.in
Buying domain with PR is worth the efforts, as you can make most out of them with little work. Though many admit that Page rank and domain age has nothing to do with the performance of the website, but I strongly believe that they do matters though not directly but some in direct factors affect the overall performance of the website.
I recommend you two sites where you can find PR sites: 1. Godaddy.com --go to the domain name marketplace 2. Here at DP
