Okey guys I am going into the business of open an online shop. The online shop will have gift presents such as presents for bithdays etcetc. I would like to know ideas how get inbound links. Most of the online shops that I have checked does not even have a link section...so they get inbound links only! How do they do that?

By having great content. Great content (besides just product listings - think reviews or articles and tools) will attract one way 'natural' linking. One of my shops gets about one new link a day, mostly from forums.

Other than that, there are a lot of shopping portals and directories you can submit to. Also get a Froogle feed and other comparison engine listings.

The best thing to kick start a link building campaign is to spend $10-$15 dollars to submit to 100 directories. Check out the services forum here to see who offers this.

While this is going on you can concentrate on link exchanges and getting 1 way natural links. Try writing product guides and reviews and sending them to loads of article directories or offering them for free inclusion on other websites in return for a link.
