You can manage a membership site with joomla, phpBB forum.

And our all hosting account include Fantastio DeLuxe, which include lot of pre-install script including joomla, phpBB forum etc.

You can also live chat with our sales representative at if you need any assistance regarding our product and services.

Give us a little more information as to what you're trying to achieve with this 'Membership Site' and we may be able to point you in the right direction. What exactly will the memberships be used for? Will you be charging for these memberships?

    firstly,thanks for reply...

No,i won`t charge visitors to become members of my site.

i`ll be offering freebies like info-products to join my membership site.

    objectives:

1.to get maximum memberships for freebies
2.to pass on new freebies to existing members aswell

Okay, so ideally you would like to find a solution that allowed only members to have access to these items, which as ,stated above, can be done through PHPBB and some configuration options, and modules. You can even do this type of thing with Wordpress and simply password protect different posts that are made. I believe their is a plugin for Wordpress allowing multiple user accounts to have access to these password protected files.

An obvious solution would be to script something yourself using PHP to setup the authentication and connect to a MySQL database to check the various logins that you may have.

http://phpbb.com, it's better known has a Message Board, but modules can be installed that will allow you to setup downloads and information resources for members. The best part is that it's Open Source.
