So you mean the threshold for Google to penalize our sites would be at least "hundreds of paid links" rite? :D Thanks for this info. I wish I'll have chance to check this. ;)
    Thanks guy.

That is the secret to success in any link building activity. You have to fly under the radar of google's red flag detectors.

You can potentially get by with buying links, so long as those bought links don't look like bought links. I strongly recommend avoiding link networks for this reason. Link networks are known by Google, so therefore, link networks are on the radar.

The only time I have ever bought links in my life, were on very targeted websites, where the site owner offered links to other webmasters for a fee. Those links were purchased in part for the link pop, but more for the traffic potential from a related website.

But in the big picture, those paid links accounted for fewer than 1% of all of the links I had at that time. Once again, having fewer than 1% of my links purchased would not raise any significant red flags in Google's algorithms.

Hello, I'm a webmaster of bestonlinerpggames.com, 3+ year old domain website about rpg games and free mmorpg. I'm trying for a very long time to improve my website traffic, but it's seems to me impossible to get under 100 000 on alexa. I can remember that 2008 or 2009 my site get to 95000-98000 on alexa. Can anyone suggest what is the ultimate strategic plan for traffic improvement (site is seo optimized, active on enzinearticles, facebook page, digg, twitter,stumbeupon...)

    Thank you in advaince.

Always include a relevant comment. Never leave just a link to your article or book. You want people to feel like you are a part of the discussion and that you have something worth while to say. You also want them to feel comfortable with your link. Never leave more then one link per comment. Don’t get carried away, it only frustrates readers and is likely to make it so that no one reads any of them.
