What are your best strategies to grow your email list ? Me i use forums ,quora ,fb groups but its not so effective in the last time
@Spartan14, do you offer a lead magnet or a piece of content in return for an email address? A reason for someone to WANT to give you their email address?
I believe there are online lead generators and are more likely datascrapers , which would helps in extracting email addresses of targets.
I can't see data scrapers (collecting email addresses that you mail) doing anything but hurting your business and reputation.
As I got requests of peoples from different Geo locations, asking suggestion or names of best datascarpers and lead generator etc. Are these type of website are not legal www[]atompark[]com/web-email-extractor/ ,scrapingdata[]com? I am not 100% sure about they are legit. There are a lot more available online?
YouTube videos are a good way to build. Of course offer free content in exchange for an email, create a squeeze page.
Quora is simply awesome and works for me well. I try to help my readers honestly without any hidden agenda. I give them away what they need as the reference to my contents. I even build my list simply providing personal supports without giving away any Lead Magnet. I don't invest any dime for my list building. I use no any lead capture page even. You can test it using two wordpress plugins - [1] contact form 7 and [2] mailchimp extension for contact form 7. I am happy with the result of my efforts. I do believe you too can experience the same.
Give away something, like a report, sample chapters from your book, some daily tips etc. Depending on business nature there are many things you can use to encourage the visitor to give you their email
I'm not familiar with those types of domains as I won't visit them. However, to me it doesn't make any difference if they're legal or legit. I know that if I stooped to using an email scraper the various email clients that I mail to will quickly recognize that the recipients didn't ask for my mailings and will immediately blacklist me. I also know that it wouldn't be long before those recipients start reporting me as a spammer. I'm simply not interested in putting my business or personal reputation on the line that way.
I transform my blog posts (which are all at least 2,000 words) into pdf files. Then put a content upgrade box. Blog posts rank in Google after some time for some keywords, if you do some SEO to them. And the content upgrade box works well. That's one way to build a list. Convert posts to pdf with copy, paste and some editing using LibreOffice Writer.
I do want to add here that there are proper ways to gather cold leads and make them work - if you take the time to warm them properly. Most people won't bother with that effort.
