i am new to websites and still do not understand how can i build backlinks to my website and how to increase google and alexa ranking

Well, get registered on some webmaster forums like this forum such as Webcosmoforums, Webicy, WDP Forum and add your websites link on signatures. And then start participating on forum discussions. you will get one backlinks for one comment.

I like to build links with forum,blog posting .They do follow and are easy to increase PR .

 

Just go to youtube and search for similar videos. You can learn various useful lessons there.

 

Do directory submissions ,Social book marking blog commenting and forum posting .But search for do-follow sites to get a back links.
