Yeah that's one of the problem in commenting. Because they have the power to see if they going to approve your comments. If I were you, do forum posting or directory submission. But I prefer forum posting. Because it will give you an instant backlinks to your site. But of course you need to participate and follow the right rule. ;)

I actually wouldnt mind paying to have some links built for me, i simply dont have the time to do it, my question is How do you find a good link building service provider, there are many advertised here, seems to be quite a few scammers around too, is there anyone good here you could recommend, PM if you like.

If your comments are not approved it is because you are keyword stuffing, not taking the time to add value to the conversation, or completely off base with what you say.

I comment all the time on a number of sites... and get very high approvals because I focus on sites that are of interest to me and I Topic Target the Source. For example if I am going to be promoting a site in an Automotive Niches I'll focus on Auto Blogs and Forums. Then I'll actually do the absurd. I'll READ THE WHOLE ARTICLE! Then I make a comment about something that was written in the article (This tells the moderator/admin hey this person actually read my post).

And that is really just about it. The extra 4 minutes it takes to read the article and make an intelligent post makes the difference between being accepted or just completely wasting your time.

No site admin wants comments that do not ad value to a post.

So if all you are doing is saying "great post" "good information I try that now" or junk like that then you may as well not even bother.

And if you really want your comment to stick then you should join/register before you post.

And here is the biggest tip I can give anyone who uses comments to build links: Crack the Wallet and spend a few bucks to get Roboform. Then set up "identities" for each of the sites you are promoting. Now when you want to register all you have to do is click one time and all the information on that site is filled into the form. Click again and respond to the email. Then off you go adding your post. I estimate I save a couple of hours a week because of Roboform. And it makes the process so much less boring. There is not point typing the same old information over and over.

Well, I can't recommend any to you (because I don't use them -- I can do it myself). One of the main things you can do though is to check their own link profiles and those of their clients. Having sites that are owned by the SEO/link builder linking to client sites is often a VERY DAMN GOOD indicator that they're just pocketing the money and not actually providing anything of value.

Another indicator of a poor quality provider is flooding blog comments and forum posts/signatures, not to mention most social media sites, with links.

One of the first things a good link builder will ask you is whether you have done a competitive keywords analysis or not. (They'll probably provide it for you if you haven't done it yet). They'll also ask which industry/market/niche/topic your site is in/about so they can start hunting down quality related and relevant sites to your own to get links from.

You do realize those links are like pennies compared to the C-notes merit-based links can get you, right?
