What do you need help with? All of it, getting traffic? Setting up an autoresponder? Setting up your blogger page?

Some of the email marketing tools will allow you to create one if you cannot (I think Aweber does, not sure about constant contact and others). In my sig there is a link to one of them (non affiliate link). They will build it for you and the addresses are automatically added to an email list you can start marketing to. I suggest you have some "freebie" giveaway to entice new subscribers. A free ebook or a special discount or something... there are prob a ton of examples throughout this form on increasing subscribers, but I have found that to be the most successful for me.

    Hope that answers your question.

Build a squeeze page, offer a free gift, collect email addresses and then follow up.

You can create your squeeze page on any platform i.e blogger, wordpress, static site. Use an autoresponder such as aweber, getresponse or any other and try to offer some form of incentive or gift to encourage your visitors to sign up.

I strongly recommend you don't go with free autoresponder because someday you will need to change to a professional autoresponder, that is aweber. And if you have 1000 people in your list using a free autoresponder, all of them need to confirm again to be opted into your new autoresponder (aweber, which offers much more features than free autoresponder) and only 25% of your list will confirm to your list again, thats a huge lost.

So I suggest you go straight to Aweber and pay $19 to build your list so you don't lose your list in the future. All the best!

I completely agree with that. If you get something free like PHPScript, you will really regret it down the road. Building a list is a serious task even with something like Aweber.

Aside from trying to convince your existing list to re-optin to your new e-mail list you will be dealing with bigger stuff like SPAM Filters, SPAM Complaints, Deliverability issues and all the other junk you never have to deal with if you're with a company like Aweber or Getresponse.

If you want to do this right you have to avoid the free route, otherwise you'll just waste a ton of your time and money. Read this review on E-mail marketing and you'll understand....hopefully...

If you dont want to spend any money just get feedburner for blogger and add the email address widget so you can build your list.

Your email marketing will begin with your opt-in list. This can easily be built by offering a free newsletter about your industry to your website visitors. You place a subscription box on your website that will capture names and email addresses of your subscribers. You can also be extra careful and make this a double opt-in, meaning that the subscriber must confirm their subscription before they join your list.
