how to build an ebook

    I create mine in .doc format and then I got a software to change it to PDF....

    Use Open Office to write and export it as PDF. Search for free templates if you want it to look better.

    You can first write the content and then may hire some to design it as a good looking ebook.

    Lots of good suggestions here. Writing the book will be the hardest part because of the availablity of free pdf creators. My favorite is PDF Complete, as it is quite simple to use. Any type of text document can be printed to pdf format. Lots of luck.

    With Open Office Writer (free program... http://www.openoffice.org ) you can type in your ebook and easily export it as a PDF file. I highly recommend it.

    PDF file are the widest used format for ebooks online and they can be read on just about any computer out there. PDF will get you more customers than any other format.

    Yes, OpenOffice for sure. Just one click export, and BAM! you got a PDF. You can also add passwords and adjust other viewing features.
