I keep seeing threads on these forums asking how you should go about getting quality leads for your opt-in lists and how to monetize them. Here's the basic outline: Sign up with an autoresponder (Aweber or GetResponse typically) Give something to your visitors that they will find useful, ebooks or reports work great Put a link to your opt-in list/ebook in forum signatures and the resource box of articles you write Convince website and/or blog readers to also sign up for your list Use a double opt-in format to get interested visitors Have a few pre-written follow up messages that interlace advertisements with content Use targeted broadcasts promoting related products (don't just use the email that affiliate pages give you to send out). And it is really just that simple, find useful products for your readers and give them something to keep them in your list and you will see nice conversions. On some lists I get about a 7% conversion rate overall (as in at least 7% of people will buy one of the products in my automated follow up emails).
