I thought I'd pass this along to all of you IMer's that are pushing affiliate products. I'm sure you've heard people claim that the power is in "the list". When I first started trying to promote affiliate programs I used BUM marketing, adwords, squidoo etc. All good ways to build traffic, but the problem was that I was building traffic to a site that I was hoping would convert. Once the traffic went to the site I lost the lead. So I decided to begin researching how to build a list. Obviously, to get someone to hand over their name and email you have to have something of value. There are a TON of things you can give away, but you have to take the time to put together a site, get the item to give away etc. I found a new site that makes all of this very easy, almost too easy. Here's the deal. This is a membership site, $199.99 for a full year of access. They have prebuilt templates with great ad copy, they handle the giveaways, the products, everything. Your prospects fill in their info and they get a ton of free(and decent software). BTW, if you fill out the form you'll get the software too. On the back end, their info is put into your list and then you get to market to them any affiliate products you wish. This is the type of info I was looking for a year ago when I first started looking to promote affiliate products. Sorry, I don't want this post to seem spammy, but I REALLY think this software makes list building a no brainer.
