I know it's very basic question but i am new to CJ , so far i tried running banner links on my site and that's doesn't look right to me.

I have been reading about BANS and phpbay but need to know anything else out there, may be better then BANS ?

Can some one explain how i can use CJ like to build a nice site ????

a good place to start might be popshops.com, basic package is free and a good way to get your feet wet. better than banners, for me banners do not work at all.

Here's some info on a little setup I like to call the Poor Man's Build a Niche Store. It's free and built entirely on wordpress, should definitely check it out.

However, if you just signed up with CJ, you may not be able to promote eBay affiliate links since eBay is getting ready to open their own affiliate program.

It's tough to build a "store" using just banners and links. A store needs to have products in it, and a way to purchase them from the site.

The bet you can do, IMO, with banners is write content , and reviews, and play the traffic vs. clicks game.

One of the reasons I stopped with CJ is the complete lack of attractive tools to convert readers into buyers.

The really need to step up their game with their creatives. Banners have been dead for a long time now.

Here is my way to do it in less than 15 minutes.

    1. Get a free template
    2. Generate Ebay RSS feed
    3. Get simple Pie
    4. Use simple pie script in your free template and VOILA!! :D

    Hi Argothiusz,

Your option sounds interesting, but i am totally new to CJ.

If you don't mind can you PM me in detail.

In Step 1 you probably talking about getting Free wordpress theme.

Step 2. I am not sure how to generate EBay RSS feed Is there any Howto somewhere i can read ?
Step 3. I looked at simplepie.org, looks interesting but not sure how that can be used to pull product information from CJ affiliate into site ?

Step 4. I need to try this out by testing ..

by the way thanks for the great tip.
