Ok a friend of mine told me he acquired a list of 1300 social media websites. His idea is to sign up and post a few of his websites on his info panel. The problem is that darn tedious task of registering for every one. I thought for a minute, what about OpenId.net Mos t have heard of it. Basicially sign up once and then access a whole bunch of sites like these: Open Id Directory Fast set up of social accounts, and instant commenting on blogs etc without having to register. And of course posting your one way links on any sites you can! Of course after doing a bunch of link building don't forget to Feed Ping your websites and blogs after making changes to your content. Good luck to all Les
OpenId certainly comes handy in social bookmarking, especially when we deal with many. It does not work for blog commenting. Unlike social bookmarking, we don't gain any link juice from using openid in blog commenting.
go for blog commenting, hubpages. and one more thing, forum signature will not be considered as a backlink by googlebot, its clever enough to distinguish proper backlinks, forum signature is only to generate traffic to your site..
I guess it really depends on what quality of links do you want. Blog commenting and profile link building works really well.

Using this tool has given me first page search engine positions for hundreds of keywords by generating 1,000's of inbound links for most of my keywords.
