its not a good practice to have huge amount of links in a short period of time

 

there is no rush, getting this amount of back links in such a short period will do more harm than good. Just take it steady and focus on other aspects of your site such as adding useful content and pleasing your visitors.

I would suggest 10,000 links over a year period would be much safer.

 

In my experience if you create too many links in a short amount of time you are not going to be penalized but those links are not going to make to much difference when it comes to CEO

 

If you do directory submission for your links, get someone else to dump to like 500-1,000 for $20 or so. It will take you more time than it's worth to submit to 500+ directories in less than $20 of your time.

 

That's good to know that you don't get banned for very high backlinks in a short time. One of my sites is 2 months old and it has around 3000 backlinks and so I decided not to get more backlinks for a couple of weeks because I thought google will ban my site... I guess I should continue getting more backlinks
