How do I go to a public library, friends house or some stranger's computer and battle against the risk of them having spywares or keyloggers? How do I detect that they are running such software? How do I prevent them from knowing my password or keystrokes?

it's basic commonsense that you should not access to the website that you need to put your personal info or password in a public computer. if really have to do it i would say you cant do anything just take a risk and hope nobody install keylogger in those computers XD.

Public libraries are normally safe as long as you log out and don't check to save password. As far as friends or strangers computers, I never enter a password unless it is my best friend and never ever at a strangers computer.

Abstainace is the best possible way.

Dont take a risk unless you are frantic!
Try checking the programs installed in the pc and look out for malicious software.

Thanks for all the input. I figured the library everyone uses what are the chances of people pinpointing my own password. Then later I could just change it.
