Your website seems like got too many categories. (too early to put so much) Visitors feel empty and leave right away. Temporary close some.
Forums are the best way to get more targeted traffic to your site, finding sites that are in your niche and posting to them is a good way to get traffic. You want to make sure that the posts you do aren't spammy to the sites and are relevant. I also agree with ladyred, make sure that you forum post everyday. Goodluck

Why dont you set up a quiz or some other small app on facebook and plaster it with your own adds to your site. This helps not only to make people aware of your website from the massive market of facebook over 200 million people but it will help get your site indexed on google and yahoo. Unless its a betting site then thats a big no no with facebook
