    do not pay for traffic , find a good do follow directory and get into it ! links are worthless unless they are in your niche. Get involved in a few forums and don't forget your keywords when you are signing your posts. New blogs are new there is thousands submitted everyday get involved in your targeted community every wich way you can is the best advise I have heard ..

    I'd suggest buying blog posts to help jump start your referral traffic source... banknerd.ca has such a program where you buy a blog post on there website and traffic ultimately drips down to your site.

    I found the best way to drive traffic to ones blog is to spend time networking with other bloggers. Take a few mins and comment on other blogs in your niche.
